How are chocolate letters made?

In this video, you'll see the entire process of pouring, shaping, and finishing chocolate letters from liquid chocolate to the final product at a random manufacturer selected by Klokhuis.

We also provide inspiration from our own Sinterklaas collection at Wagemakers, so you can immediately see what's possible in terms of flavors, shapes, and personalization, but that is of course separate from the video.

Step by step: from chocolate to letter

1. Selection & melting of chocolate
   We select high-quality chocolate (milk, dark, white, or flavored varieties). This chocolate is gently melted into a liquid mass.
2. Molding and casting
   The melted chocolate is poured into silicone or metal molds in the desired letter shape.
3. Solidification / cooling
   The filled molds are cooled so that the chocolate hardens and the letter retains its shape.
4. Demolding & post-processing
   The letters are carefully removed from the molds. Then comes the finishing: gloss coating, optional dipping, decoration, color accents, and toppings.
5. Personalization & branding
   For companies or special gifts, your logo or message can be placed on the letter or packaging.
6. Packaging & Shipping
   Finally, the chocolate letters are packaged in luxury boxes or wrappers, provided with branding, and shipped to customers.
