Easter is the perfect time to enjoy delicious food, bright colors, and of course... coffee! Because let's be honest: what's better than a good cup of coffee during a cozy Easter brunch or to round off a festive dinner?

Recipe: Easter Tiramisu with espresso & eggnog

What do you need (for 6 people)?

  • 250 ml whipped cream
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 75 g icing sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 200 ml strong espresso (preferably from Wagemakers Koffie ) is so tasty 😀
  • 100 ml advocaat
  • 1 pack of ladyfingers
  • Dark chocolate Easter eggs (grated or halved)
  • Cocoa powder for finishing



Here's how to make it:

  1. Whip the cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form. Then gently fold in the mascarpone until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix the espresso with the advocaat in a deep plate.
  3. Dip the ladyfingers briefly in the espresso-advocaat mixture and place them on the bottom of a bowl or glasses.
  4. Spoon a layer of the mascarpone cream on top. Repeat until everything is used up, ending with a layer of cream.
  5. Let it set in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours (preferably overnight).
  6. Just before serving, sprinkle with cocoa powder and garnish with Easter eggs or grated chocolate.


Tip from the barista

For this recipe, use a strong espresso made with our Wagemakers coffee beans, but you can also use another blend – for example, a blend with notes of dark chocolate or nuts. This will make your tiramisu even richer in flavor.
