Believing in dreams starts in small moments

As entrepreneurs, we're often focused on growth. On targets. On opportunities. On success.

But sometimes true success isn't measured in numbers. Sometimes it's in a moment you'd almost miss if you didn't consciously choose to pause.

This week I was away for a few days with my family. A break from the hustle and bustle. No appointments, no meetings, no agenda to dictate how the day unfolds.

My five-year-old daughter loves soccer. She can get completely lost in it. Running, laughing, falling, and getting back up. Just the way children should be.

At the park where we stayed, the entertainment team was off for a while. So, naturally, it all ended up with Dad. When she started getting bored, I leaned over and whispered:

How about playing football ?

She looked at me and asked, In the room?

I said: No, on the field of the park.

You should have seen her face. That moment. That look. That enthusiasm. It's pure magic.

And at that moment I realized something important.

True wealth lies in memories

We work hard for success. For security. For growth. That's good. That's necessary.

But ultimately, it's not the numbers that stick. It's the memories you make. With your children. With your partner. With the people around you.

Memories where someone feels seen. Where someone dares to dream again. Where someone feels they matter.

Those are the moments that last.

Dreams start small

In everything I do, I believe everyone deserves a dream. Not just the big dreams of the future, but especially the small dreams of today.

A moment when a child feels: I am allowed to be here.

A moment when a child feels: I can do something.

A moment when a child dares to believe again.

Dreams don't start with success.

Dreams start with attention.

My lesson that morning

That morning my daughter taught me again what is truly important.

Don't just invest in business success.

Invest in emotional successes.

Because emotional successes become memories.

And memories ultimately form your real wealth.

And the best part is.

They often cost less than you think.

Keep dreaming.

Keep believing.

For yourself. For each other. For the generation that comes after us.
